A Mysogynist Judge

In Florida, a 54-year old school teacher has sex with a 14-year old female student. The teacher is sentenced to only 30 days in jail. In rendering his outrageous decision, the judge said of the child rape victim, that she was far more mature than her chronological age, and that the 14-year old was just as much in control of the situation as the 54-year old teacher was.

There was so much outrage over the judge's decision and subsequent statements, the judge went on TV and apologized.

Even if the sex was 'consensual' a 14-year old cannot legally consent to have sex with someone older than her by 3 years. The teacher is guilty of statutory rape, at the very least.

This judge is dangerous! First, he is a potential misogynist. His ruling and statements encourage other sex-crazed adults to attempt similar crimes with children. His apology is meaningless. He still holds his warped and dangerous opinions about any young girl he considers physically and mentally beyond her years. He sees little, if anything, wrong with a middle-aged man wanting to have sex with a 14-year old girl.

The judge should be impeached! He should be disbarred, and possibly charged with child endangerment. He should be publicly ridiculed and have his reputation ruined.

This Florida judge is another example of why millions of people are losing, or have already lost, faith in the judicial system. That fact is the saddest and most dangerous issue of all...

That's my take on it.  What do you think?

Good-bye.  God bless.  Be safe.

The Traitor(-ette)

Army Private Bradley Manning is the traitor who leaked thousands of top secret military documents to WikiLeaks. He could have been sentenced to 90 years in prison. Instead, he was sentenced to only 35 years and will be eligible for parole in 9 years.

Now, this un-American reprobate is saying he wants to serve his time as a woman, in a women's prison!  The scumbag has apparently had gender issues for some time. There's a photo of him on cable news in drag – a close-up of him in a long blond wig and makeup.

I'm tired of this cockamamie transgender crap! I'm particularly fed up with convicts saying the taxpayers should pay for their sex change, which can cost $20,000-30,000. The Uniform Code of Military Justice states military convicts can not have a sex change at taxpayer expense, but Manning's lawyer says he'll fight it in court.

Let me know what do you think will happen?

Good-Bye. God bless. Be safe.

Give Me A Physical Break - Really!

Here we go again!

The California legislature passes a bill to let kids, confused about their gender, use whichever bathroom and play on whichever sports team they believe matches their gender identity, regardless of their anatomy.

More insanity from legislatures and policy makers. Similar laws or policies have been passed in four other states. These transgender proponents want kids who think they are, or want to be, the opposite sex have personal and intimate rights at the expense of the more than 99% of kids who aren't confused about their gender. They want to let these so called transgender people use the opposite sex bathrooms, showers, locker rooms and other very personal venues.

But what about the normal kids?

Do you want your 16 year old daughter sharing a bathroom or locker room with a large, strong 16 year old boy who claims he's a transgender and says he should have been a girl? What about public bathrooms? Do you want your young son in a bathroom with a 35 year old woman who says she's a man? These policy makers want to force the vast majority of kids into the most intimate situations you can think of so transgender people can feel..what? More normal? What will the real normal kids feel like?

If transgender people want opposite sex privacy and intimacy rights, fine. But not at the expense of all others. So, give them separate bathrooms. Don't let them shower and share locker rooms at the same time.

And the more transgenderism becomes the norm, the more, especially guys, will, in public settings, lie about their confused gender status, just so they can legally get into areas for women only. Just so they can ogle, harass or worse, women and girls in vulnerable situations.

What the hell is our country becoming??

I'd like to hear your point of view.

Good-bye. God bless. Be safe.

Lasting memories, first impressions

Hello Folks,

Well, here I am, retired, and I still can't believe it. Retirement feels good, but it will take awhile to get used to it. I miss everyone at WHP and I miss you, the listeners. I think it'll get worse before it gets better.

My retirement broadcast was more than I could have ever imagined. Actually, it was incredible! I want to thank all the folks who came and the listeners who were with us in spirit. What really blew me away was the standing ovation. I certainly wasn't expecting it and it brought a tear to my eye and I had to struggle to keep my composure. Some ladies who wished me well were crying and I had to struggle some more. There were so many people there! I have never experienced anything like that in my life and the memory will be with me forever.

But this isn't goodbye, it's just so long. I'll be making personal appearances, writing commentary on my website, writing my blog and doing talk shows from time to time on WHP.

If you see me out and about, say Hello. Just look for the cowboy hat. Right now I'm going to answer more of your emails, but I'll talk with you soon...

Good-bye. God bless. Be safe.

Reflections on moving on

Hello Folks,

Bob Durgin here.  This is my first blog post ever.  I'm entering a new, exciting and somewhat scary part of my life.  I have been doing radio for my entire adult life.  It has defined me in more ways than I can ever describe.  I don't know what to expect going forward, nor can I predict how I'll feel about it.

What I do know, however, is that while I may be riding off into the proverbial sunset, I'm still in the saddle.  I intend to stay in touch and involved through various media such as my website, this blog and other social media.  I intend to be a part of activism on the part of the common man, just as I've been throughout my talk radio career.  My schedule of events will be posted on my several outlets.  Hope to see you at some of them.

Well, just two more days until I relinquish my broadcast microphone for good.  It's been a long run and a really good one.  Here's hoping to keep up with the friendships that I've made with you all.

Check back soon.

Good-bye and God bless!
